I thought about the ongoing conflict between a reality containing only us and a reality containing\u00a0us and God. I\u2019m pretty sure you\u2019ve felt this paradox from time to time. In this age, in everyday life, reference to God is rare and constantly supports the notion He’s\u00a0all a dream. Let me assure you, just because the mind doesn\u2019t sense God or think about him is no proof of anything. The issue has more to do with thought leadership and the common citadels of smart.<\/p>\n
The mainstream philosophy of science assumes all phenomena as explainable through material mechanisms, a limiting understanding reserved for the human senses and their amplifying devices. Going against the limiting position of reality, the Bible shows a reality of two sides, like an actual coin with heads and tails. With the material side closes to our attention, the spiritual side is real, yet something else altogether. But they connect! The two sides are linkable through metaphor or simile\u2014not only in language but in substance. Take another look at these symbolic connecting paths making our coin. The problem: these connections do not run the spiritual side into a corner for an indisputable confirmation. We don\u2019t know enough in our current age to pin down this realm for testing.\u00a0 Today, I suppose the material mind is in the Stone Age, the material age. So the skeptics easily find a way to deny the two-sided Biblical reality.<\/p>\n
Faith will always be the foundation for propositions making up the real.
